Andy joined Mowery & Schoenfeld in November 2021 and currently serves as our Director of Quality Management. Andy has over 17 years of experience in public accounting and business consulting with various local, regional, and Big Four accounting firms, beginning his career in September 2007 with a Big Four firm. His applicable experience includes performing and reviewing audit and attestation services for clients in various industries including manufacturing and distribution, real estate, construction, private equity, services/hospitality and technology.
Andy has significant experience in developing and leading training programs both locally and nationally at previous firms. Andy previously served in client service roles including as engagement partner on audit and attestation engagements and he also served in a rotational audit quality director role supporting a previous firm’s national office technical partners.
Andy graduated from Walsh University with his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Business Management. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the states of Illinois and Ohio. He is a member of the Illinois Certified Public Accountant Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Outside of the office, Andy enjoys traveling with his partner, staying active, hanging out with their dogs, and attending live concerts and theatre shows. He is a collegiate-level tennis player and a two-time marathoner.
