SafeSend Returns also automatically sends the form(s) back to Mowery & Schoenfeld. If applicable, you can also manage your Schedule K-1 distribution.

How To Use SafeSend Returns
- You will receive an email from Mowery & Schoenfeld with a “from” address of noreply@safesendreturns.com. You may need to add this email address to your safe list.
- The email will contain a secure link to access your tax return. SafeSend will email or text you an access code to verify your identity. For emailed codes, check your spam or junk folder if you do not receive the email in your inbox. You must enter the code within 20 minutes of receipt. If the code expires, you can request another.
- If you are accessing an individual Form 1040 return, you will also be asked to enter the last four digits of your Social Security number. This step does not apply to business tax returns.
- Review and download your documents. Distribute your Schedule K-1s if applicable.
- Sign your e-file authorization forms online and submit them through SafeSend Returns. If you are signing an individual Form 1040 return, you will be asked a series of questions to verify your identity through Knowledge Based Authentication (KBA). This does not apply to business tax returns.
- You can also print, sign, and return the forms to Mowery & Schoenfeld.
