M&S managing partner, Jeff Mowery, has been selected by Accounting Today as a member of its 2016 Class of the Managing Partner Elite! According to the article released by Accounting Today, this award honors innovative, forward- thinking, and unusually successful leaders.
Among other attributes, Jeff's focus on firm culture, growth and succession strategies, and technology helped him to stand out among his peers in consideration for this award.
Jeff has been the managing partner of Mowery & Schoenfeld, LLC since 2008, during which time he has successfully completed five mergers, grown revenues by over 250%, and recruited so extensively from colleges and universities that millennials make up over half of the Firm. His commitment to growth is evidenced not only by his pursuance of acquired revenues, but also by the training and development opportunities he has provided to the Firm's staff as well as his attention to organic growth strategies. Firm culture represents another key area that Jeff has focused on during his tenure - under his leadership as managing partner, the Firm's staff has established a social committee to plan events and outings, formed M&S Cares to boost community involvement, and revamped MSLLC University, the Firm's onboarding and training program. He has also replaced a formal dress code with a dress for your day policy and expanded the Firm's vacation benefits.
