The Tax and Assurance Departments at M&S are proud to announce that we have promoted five of our employees to Manager this summer!

After spending two years in the accounting department of a safe distribution company, Brad decided it was time to join the world of public accounting, and started with M&S in July 2012.
Brad's ability to make light of any situation and his knack for cleaning up messy trial balances makes him a perfect fit for entrepreneurs who may be intimidated by the complex areas of accounting. As such, he works with our small business clients to implement and analyze accounting and financial reporting systems.
Cameron first joined Mowery & Schoenfeld in January 2012 as an intern. Luckily, he couldn't get enough of M&S after his internship, and began full time employment in the Assurance department a year later in January 2013, after finishing up his studies at Northern Illinois University.
Cameron specializes in managing assurance engagements for clients in the construction, healthcare, manufacturing, and not-for-profit industries. Having grown up in a family business, Cameron's ability to service our clients comes from his entrepreneurial spirit and innate understanding of small business.
Cody joined Mowery & Schoenfeld's Tax Team in November 2012 after graduating from Northern Illinois University and interning with a Big Four accounting firm. He has been working with construction contractors, real estate developers, and other flow-through entities to stay ahead of their tax strategies ever since.
In addition to helping his clients stay ahead of their tax planning strategies, Cody plays an active role in staff recruitment and development at the Firm. You can catch him at career fairs in the fall and spring, and it's not uncommon around the office to see him in a mentor meeting with one of the new tax associates.
Jeff joined the Assurance Team at Mowery & Schoenfeld in November 2012, eager to begin working with our clients. His goal: to provide services that would make a difference in the lives of the entrepreneurs we work with by helping them improve their businesses.
Jeff specializes in applying the concepts of financial analysis in overseeing audit, review, and compilation engagements, He also takes an active role in developing new staff, challenging them and helping them grow as professionals from their experience on his engagements.
Drawn to the field of public accounting by her professional curiosity and appetite for variety, Nicole joined the M&S Tax Team in November 2013. She spends her time helping our manufacturing, distribution, professional service, and other business tax clients take a proactive and technical approach to their tax planning and compliance needs.
Nicole also invests in developing our team through active mentorship and training. Understanding the importance of collaboration, she acts as a resource for her colleagues.
