Mowery & Schoenfeld LLC in Lincolnshire, Illinois is looking for Senior Audit Associates. Qualified candidates will be planning and execution of Financial Statement audits in different industries under GAAP and GAAS standards. Performing reviews of financial statements under AICPA Standards. Planning and execution of 401(k) audits under GAAP. Providing monthly assistance with preparation of financial statements. Detecting and communicating accounting and auditing matters to senior managers and partners. Preparing financial statements under GAAP and GAAS. Collecting and analyzing data to detect deficient controls, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies. Performing inventory observations and counts in different industries.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Accounting and two years’ experience in position or two years’ experience in Accounting field.
Special requirements: Two years of public accounting firm experience; and experience with preparing financial statements under GAAP and GAAS; collecting and analyzing data to detect deficient controls, fraud, or non-compliance; and performing inventory observations. Telecommuting may be permitted.
