Executive Assistant – Transaction Advisory Services

Mowery & Schoenfeld is seeking an individual with exceptional organizational skills and a critical eye to join our team. We are looking for an Executive Assistant to perform a variety of administrative tasks and support our Transaction Advisory Service team and lead partner.

The Executive Assistant’s primary focus will be to assist the lead Transaction Advisory partner with prioritizing and executing daily tasks, based on changing demands and client communications, predominantly email. Additionally, this person will be responsible for managing calendars, assisting in maintaining the business development pipeline, making travel, or meeting arrangements, preparing expense reports, and providing general support for the activities of the Transaction Advisory Services Team. To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized, have great time-management skills, and be able to act without guidance.

Ultimately, you will contribute to the efficiency of our business by providing personalized and timely support.


  • Work experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or similar administrative role
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office Suite skills; particularly Outlook and Excel
  • Ability to learn new programs and tools to support department functions
  • Strong proofreading skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • Ability to manage multiple personalities, setting boundaries and following up as necessary
  • Comfort with changing plans and shifting priorities
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with office equipment, such as copy and binding machines
  • Dedication to accuracy and efficiently
  • Ability to work in the Lincolnshire office with regularity

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist leaders with day-to-day coordination, administrative, and organizational tasks
  • Assist with monthly client billing process
  • Assist with preparing materials for meetings and events
  • Use various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation applications
  • Interact with clients and other employees, fielding questions, directing to the appropriate person, and supporting basic needs and requests
  • Reading, organizing, and prioritizing incoming emails
  • Proofreading individual and department correspondents and marketing materials
  • Supporting the marketing team with events, gifts, outreach, and other client experience activities
  • Supporting the HR team during performance review and recruiting cycles
  • Provide general administrative support
