Keith A. Schoenfeld, Partner
Keith is the Partner in charge of the accounting and auditing services of the firm and received a bachelor degree in accounting from Northern Illinois University in 1986.
Throughout his career, Keith has served many companies including manufacturers, contractors, technology companies, service companies, retailers and non-profit organizations. His expertise includes strategic planning, financial reporting, accounting theory, benefit plans and corporate taxation.
Keith is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society and the Young Entrepreneurs' Organization. Keith currently serves on the Board of Directors of Arden Shore Child and Family Services located in Vernon Hills and the Chicago Chapter of Young Entrepreneurs' Organization.
Prior to co-founding Mowery & Schoenfeld in 1996, Keith worked for eight years in the Oak Brook office of Crowe, Chizek and Company, LLC, where he was a senior manager. Keith also was a Principal with a smaller accounting firm located in Lake Forest, Illinois for two years and has worked extensively with closely held businesses throughout his career.
Personal interests include spending time with his wife and three children, coaching youth sports and golfing. Keith recently competed in the Mrs T's Chicago Triathlon at the Olympic distance.
